Git, a zine! Full digital edition, high res polaroid scans, and compiled notes ready for reading or physical print. Git (get), a word used in the Southern parts of the U.S. It's used with irritation, almost unfriendly and it's often directed at unwanted animals, begging bums, or someone annoying you, for example. A phrase using this would be "git, go on now, git!" or just "git!". It simply means "go away", "get outta here", "scram" etc. Being from Texas, I would often hear this as a child from my momma trying to shoo me from the house after I would ignore her first request for me to go outside and play. I think to this day I remind myself to not shut myself in. To create and not be afraid of what's out there or what I might create, if it's good or bad or whatever my brain decides for me. I just gotta go on, and GIT!
